To Place a Support

Expand the Supports Ribbon.

Select the Support specification in the Standard Preferences dialog.

Select a support option from one of the Support galleries.

Select the length of pipe to support.

The Place Support dialog displays.

Enter a tag number for the support and define any additional properties.

Note: The values in the Design Geometry tab correspond with the alphabetical dimensions in the Preview window.

Pick the placement point on the pipe.

Pick a rotation direction for the support.

Optional: Some supports prompt you for a length for the support. Pick a point in the drawing or enter a value in the AccuDraw window.
